Wisconsin Singers is a professional entertainment company that has served as "Official Ambassador of Goodwill" for the UW Madison since 1967. Each year, Broadway choreographers and professional arrangers create a 90 minute revue-style show that showcases UW's best collegiate talents performing American popular music for more than 50,000 annually.  Involving students in every aspect of the entertainment business from performing (singers, dancers, actors, instrumentalists) and stage technology to PR/Graphic Arts/Marketing/Business internships, the Wisconsin Singers provides scholarships for all participants as well as UW class credit.

Students of any major may apply. Must have completed at least one year of college and have some experience and/or classwork related to the internship for which they are applying.
Scholarships are awarded to all performers and theater techs in Wisconsin Singers (singers, dancers, instrumentalists, sound/lighting/stage management techs). Scholarships are awarded to all performers and theater techs in Wisconsin Singers (singers, dancers, instrumentalists, sound/lighting/stage management techs). Students of any major, including incoming freshmen, must audition/apply in May or June of the year preceding participation as well as fill out a scholarship application. Scholarship recipients receive awards based on a full academic year of performing with the Wisconsin Singers and also receive UW class credit.
Wisconsin Singers (singers,dancers, instrumentalists, sound/lighting/stage management techs) is open to UW Madison students of any major including incoming freshmen and transfer students. Singers, dancers, actors, brass and saxophone, keys, drumset, electric bass, and electric guitar players eligible. Sound engineer, stage manager, and lighting designers also needed.
