Scholarships Descriptions
The Wisconsin International Scholars (WISc) Program is an undergraduate honors enrichment program for students interested in global affairs, cultures, and languages.
The Wisconsin International Scholars (WISc) Program is an undergraduate honors enrichment program for students interested in global affairs, cultures, and languages.
Eligible applicants must meet ONE of the following criteria: <ol> <li>Cumulative HS GPA of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale at the end of junior year OR</li> <li>Top 10% of graduating class OR</li> <li>Minimum ACT score of 30, or a minimum SAT Composite score of 1750 (SAT prior to March 2016) or 1250 (SAT after March 2016).</li> </ol> Students may only apply for admission to the WISc Program before the start of their freshman year. Language preparation: minimum of 3 years of language study or demonstrated proficiency in at least one language beyond English. Additional elements considered in the selection process include demonstrated interest in global affairs, cultures, and languages as well as leadership potential and individual background and experiences.
