Welcome to the College of Engineering scholarship page and thank you for your interest in our program. Most of the available scholarships are for continuing, undergraduate students who meet specific criteria.

The College is soliciting applications from continuing students for scholarships awarded directly at the College level for academic year 2014-15. In most cases, students must have been enrolled at UW-Madison, College of Engineering for at least 2 semesters in order to be eligible. There are many more scholarships given at the discretion of the individual academic departments and qualified students are encouraged to contact their major department for more information on application procedures and deadlines. Additional information may be found on the College's web page at http://www.engr.wisc.edu

Applications are available for:

A.    Sophomore students (2nd year): Scholarships for outstanding second year (sophomore) students who may or may not have been accepted into a department for 2014-15. You MUST have entered UW-Madison as a new freshman student during 2013-14 in order to be eligible for these awards. Applicants who do not meet this criterion are ineligible and applications will NOT be reviewed.

B.    Specialty scholarships for continuing students who meet specific criteria

Applications will be available to continuing students on April 15, 2014 and must be completed by May 31, 2014 to be considered for awards.

The scholarships listed are representative of the funds available from which awards will be made. In most cases, students do not apply for individual scholarships but rather for support from one of the funds available to the College. Some applications are tied to multiple scholarship funds while others are for a specific scholarship. If you qualify, you may be asked to complete multiple scholarship applications. Scholarship offers will be made over the summer so be sure you have updated home and/or mailing addresses.
