The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is fortunate to be able to award scholarships to many deserving undergraduate students.  Many awards are based on academic merit and not on financial need.

In order to apply, students must have completed the General College Requirements (GCR) of the College of Engineering and declared either Computer Engineering (CMPE) or Electrical Engineering (EE) as a major.  Scholarships are also available to students expecting to complete the GCR and declare either CMPE or EE as a major for the term of the scholarship.  The deadline to have submitted a complete application for 2015-2016 scholarships awarded by the ECE department is Friday, May 22, 2015.

Students who are eligible for ECE scholarships may also be eligible for scholarships awarded by the College of Engineering.

If you are interested in establishing a scholarship fund for the ECE department, please call the University of Wisconsin Foundation at 608-263-4545 and ask to speak to the Development Director for the College of Engineering.
