The Geological Engineering (GLE) Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is fortunate to have several scholarships available to deserving undergraduate students.

The scholarship application period runs from April 15 through May 30.

Undergraduate students who have been accepted and enrolled into the Geological Engineering major effective the Spring 2014 or earlier term are eligible to apply for these scholarships. Students who have applied to the Geological Engineering major for the Fall 2014 term may apply; however, before scholarships are awarded, the department will confirm that the student has been admitted to the Geological Engineering major. Students graduating in December 2014 are eligible to apply, but scholarship awards may be reduced.

To apply, please log into your MyUW; click on the Student Services Tab at the top of the page; select Scholarships@UW-Madison; click Enter Scholarships@UW-Madison; complete the Geological Engineering Department Scholarship application.

Students who are eligible for GLE scholarships may also be eligible for scholarships awarded by the College of Engineering.

If you are interested in establishing a scholarship fund for the GLE Program, please call the University of Wisconsin Foundation at 608-263-4545 and ask to speak to the Development Director for the College of Engineering.
