The BYOD Scholarship is a pilot scholarship for the 2017-2018 academic year. It will award a laptop rental at a heavily reduced price to Wisconsin BBA students who apply and are selected for this scholarship award. Previously, laptop carts were made available by professors and instructors in courses that required specific software. However, starting this year, BBA students will be highly encouraged to bring their own device and software to their business classes. In order to help offset the cost of owning and using a laptop, this scholarship permits current BBA students to rent a laptop with a standardized software package from DOIT for the 2017-2018 academic year. Completion of the FAFSA is strongly preferred!
