How to apply

• Many of the scholarships listed on this site can be applied for online using the MyUW Online Application. Applications for scholarships are not open year-round. Please check this site to see when applications are typically open.
• Go to MyUW and enter the Online Application in the ‘Services’ tab, or click ‘Scholarships@UW-Madison’ in your Student Center.
• Match yourself to scholarships in the ‘My Scholarship Matches’ tab.
• Complete applications online. Some schools and colleges will allow you to complete a single application to apply for multiple scholarships at once.
• Use the ‘MyProfile’ tab to track your achievements throughout your academic career. Profiles can be downloaded as frameworks for resumes and portfolios, or used for scholarship applications.

Notes for Applicants

Scholarships are awarded to recognize the outstanding academic work of current and future UW-Madison students. Eligibility criteria will vary, even within individual schools and colleges. While not the only factor, financial need is often considered in the selection process.

Pay particular attention to submission deadlines, as they vary by school and college. There is no single date when all scholarships are awarded. Recipients will be notified when final decisions have been made.
